JIM TURNER is the Owner and Dealer Principal of JIM TURNER CHEVROLET OF MCGREGOR. Jim is well known in the Waco and Central Texas area, having graduated from Baylor University and having served on Baylor’s Board of Trustees and as Chairman.
Jim earned ALL-SWC Basketball honors at Baylor and is one of the leading scorers in Baylor Basketball history.
Jim is also on the Board of Trustees at Baylor Scott & White Health System having served as a Past Chairman. He is also a minority owner of the Texas Rangers Baseball Team and the WNBA Dallas Wings Basketball Team.
Jim’s Wife, Julie, is also a Baylor Graduate and currently serves on the Baylor University Board of Trustees. Julie is also a past chairman of Dallas Baptist University in Dallas and serves on other Community organizations in Dallas.
The Turner Family Owned and Operated the largest privately owned soft drink Bottling Company in the US and Jim was the Chairman and CEO. The Turner family is internationally recognized as leaders in the soft drink industry.
Jim and Julie are generous philanthropic donors to Baylor University, Baylor Scott & White Health System and many worthy organizations in Dallas/Ft. Worth and the Central Texas area. The Turner Family was most recently recognized with the ‘JIM TURNER FAMILY CHAMPIONSHIP PLAZA’ at the new Foster Pavilion on the Baylor campus.
The Turners’ have 2 daughters who are also involved the business, Amy and Jenna, and 2 Grandsons, Turner and Jackson.
