The future has arrived, and it’s electric! Whether you’re looking for a car to take you on a weekend trip or a vehicle that will save you from visiting the pump on your workday commute, the Bolt is ready to get you wherever you need to go. You’ll also find several other advances, from safety and technology to comfort on the new Bolt. If you’re in the market for your next ride, check out our top five reasons to go electric in the Chevy Bolt.

  1. Go Farther With Electric Power

The electric power you find in the Chevy Bolt allows you to travel farther than you ever thought possible. Get up to 259 miles off of a full charge, and with up to 200 horsepower, you’ll feel the power every time you press the pedal. Depending on how far you drive, you may not even need to charge your Bolt daily.

  1. Top-of-the-Line Technology

There’s a setup of top-of-the-line technology to enjoy the moment you take your seat inside the new Bolt. With features such as a detailed driver information center, you can see your mile range, current speed, battery power, and tire pressure. Driver display screens use weather, road conditions, and driving behaviors to determine how each affects your range. Connect with your favorite playlists, contacts, and navigation, thanks to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability feature.

  1. Convenient Charging Options

To keep your Bolt charged and ready to go, there are several different options when it comes to plugging in. Available DC fast charging can be found while you’re out and about and allows you to get up to 100 miles in as little as 30 minutes. You can opt for a Home EV charging station so you can plug in right at home and head out with a full battery.

The quickest way to get a charge at home is using a 240-volt/32-amp unit that will get you about 25 miles of range per hour of charging time. If you can charge your phone, you can charge the Chevy Bolt.

  1. Advanced Driver-Assistance Features

The Chevy Bolt comes with an array of advanced available driver-assistance features. These include forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, and automatic emergency braking. There’s also an HD rear vision camera, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind zone alert. Drive confidently, knowing that these features are helping to keep you out of harm’s way.

  1. Modern Design

Both inside and out, the Chevy Bolt is packed with modern design features that are sure to capture the eye. With two trim levels available, you can choose which options you prefer. The LT comes with 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, front bucket seats, and chrome accents. The Premier comes with heated front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and ambient lighting.
