Less than 10 minutes away in nearby Crawford, Tonkawa Falls Park, at 8524 E. 5th St., is a lovely park with picturesque waterfalls, a small river, and tons of trees and benches to relax. Plus, there’s a nearby pavilion that’s great for family photos. In addition to taking some amazing pictures, you can also go swimming or feed the ducks.
With plenty of things to photograph, great bright settings, and ample activities to keep you and the whole family engaged, Tonkawa Falls Park is a worthwhile place to visit and just a brief drive from McGregor.
3. Mother Neff State Park
Visit Mother Neff State Park, at 1921 State Park Rd. 14 in nearby Moody, for an immersive natural experience with plenty of trails to explore, gorgeous flowers and greenery, and plenty of birding and wildlife. There’s also a cave, water tower, and some excellent high viewpoints where you can get panoramic snaps. Plus, visitors will enjoy a fun day out in the fresh air.
